As usual, 11am local time, and I cannot complete a single sortie in Ace Combat Infinity. The PSN chat rooms keep dropping connections, several other players report the same issues, PSN keeps dropping for everyone, and this is becoming the rule, not the exception.
I know you don't want to support the PS3 or its player base anymore, and I know you want me to buy a PS4 and move on, but my question is this: *WHY*? Why would you think that I'd throw good money after bad in such a fashion? Why on earth would I buy a PS4 and trust that you can maintain its network or its online playability, when you can't maintain a network that you've had up and running for nearly a decade now? Seems to me you should have ironed the bugs out of a network after that much time, but instead it's getting worse. It used to be that I could count on the network taking a crap on Sunday nights, the last night of tournaments in Ace Combat. Now, though, it's daily. EVERY. **bleep**. DAY. I can 100% count on the fact that I will not be able to play a game between 10am and 5pm, especially on weekends.
Why can't you fix this? Or do you just not care to?
My connection to my moden is a wired connection. I've reset the modem & router a dozen times. Everything else in my house works flawlessly. I have upload/download speeds of 56mbps/5.6mbps, but for some reason the Playstation Network is still complete and utter garbage. Roku works. AppleTV works. WiFi works. My computers, phones, and tablets all work. Heck, even my Wii works. But the PS3? Might as well be a cinder block, for all the good it's doing me as a gaming system.
