PS Store Purchased DCUO Marketplace Cash Never Granted In-Game on PS4

On Saturday December 21st I purchased 5,000 Marketplace Cash for DC Universe Online from the PS4 PS Store.  Then last night, December 22nd I purchased an additional 1,000 Marketplace Case for DC Universe Online from the PS4 PS Store.  This totaled $54.98 in purchases.  When I then logged into the game and went to the in-game marketplace I found that it said I had 0 Marketplace Cash.

 

I immediately checked my Transaction History and could see both purchases went through without any issues.  I tried relogging and restarting my PS4 but neither seemed to fix the issue so I opened a support incident with SOE.com.  Below is a copy of the response I received from them.

"Thank you for contacting in-game support. You may want to try completely logging out of the PSN and logging back in to see if that helps. You may also want to try logging in through a PS3. It can also sometimes take up to 24 hours for Marketplace Cash to be credited. Unfortunately the GM Team cannot currently track these transactions so you will need to contact SCEA for billing assistance if this transaction does not go through. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."

 

I then responded that waiting 24 hours for a purchased item from the PS Store is not acceptable to me and inquired if this was a glitch that was being resolved or if this was functioning as intended and was told:

"Thank you for contacting us with your issue. In-Game Customer Services does not have any interaction with Market Cash sales. All Market Cash purchase issues should be sent to SCEA, as they will be able to assist you with this request. You can contact them at http://us.playstation.com/support or by phone at 1-877-971-7669. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to contact us again if you have future questions or concerns."

 

I went and turned on my PS3, updated DCUO there, then logged into the game around 7:30AM this morning.  On the PS3 version of the game the Marketplace Cash was available in-game so I responded to SOE that they could close their incident but that I would follow up here so that SCEA was notified that this issue occurred to begin with.

 

All in all it took approx. 48 hours before I received the in-game Marketplace Cash from my original purchase on December 21st.  That doesn't seem like an appropriate response time for receiving items purchased from the PS Store.  IF that is the correct amount of time before someone will receive items purchased from the PS Store then I can only imagine people will not be purchasing much from the store in the future.
